Founded in Ottawa, 3rd Eye Street Media was built in response to the gap between how street-level realities are lived and how they are publicly framed, softened, and misunderstood.
The work challenges stigma, rejects extraction, and insists on the full complexity of lives shaped by systems that fail people every day.

Why We Exist
People living through poverty, addiction, housing instability, and systemic failure are constantly misrepresented.
They are turned into:
Rarely are they treated as authors of their own narratives.

Lived experience is not a tool.
It is not a credential.
It is not a funding angle.
It is authorship.
